This is all the info I have so far on it. Seems like a good trade, and Im probably gonna end up going for it, but I was wondering if anyone had any info or opinions on Aria basses I cant say I know or have heard about them too much. Sounds Like: Howlin Wolf, Santana, Jared James Nichols So theres a guy on craigslist offering to trade an Aria 4 string, a 5 string squier, an a 15 combo for a guitar. Be sure to catch him and his band whenever they come rolling into town. BUT, I own an Aria Pro II RS Knight Warrior (name is kinda cheesy, but its strat style with HB,S,S config) and its a great guitar. Aria Operating out of Nagoya, Japan and in operation for 70 years, Aria has become one of the best-known Japanese names in music. Most of the 70 s copies were sourced from Matsumoku as they got more into electrics and more original models in the 80s. Did a lot with the wholesalers and stores like Venemans. Harlis Sweetwater commands your attention immediately, as he delivers a unique rendition of soulful blues rock that you can feel, between his whiskey gravel-like voice and his incredible emotive guitar chops, Harlis is a powerhouse that is sure to turn heads as soon as he is on the mic or bending strings in his unapologetic fashion. At times playing with his own Harlis Sweetwater band, the band formed in 2011 and hailing from Huntington Beach, CA, but sounds a lot more like Texas or Tennessee, Harlis and his band are a no-frills straight forward Rock N Roll band that can be seen touring all over headlining shows. Arai switched the spelling to Aria, started mostly with acoustic especially nylon string classic models late 60s.
